## Documentation

Ubient Go Search has two guides.

### API Guide

**For:** scripts, applications, and AI agents that call the Ubient Go Search API, and the people who build them.

The API Guide explains how to send search requests and how to handle the responses. It covers:

- Request parameters: `q`, `format`, `categories`, `language`, `pageno`, `time_range`, and `safesearch`
- Sending `GET` and `POST` requests, including searches with Korean terms
- The JSON response structure: search results, infoboxes, suggestions, and engines that did not respond
- A Python example that uses only the standard library
- Retrieving the service configuration from `/config`
- HTTP status codes and a recommended error-handling sequence
- Usage considerations such as encoding, differences between search engines, and optional response fields

### AI Agent Skill Installation Guide

**For:** AI agents. If you are a person, give your agent the URL of this guide and ask it to install the Ubient Go search skill.

This guide is written for AI agents. It explains how an agent installs one file, `SKILL.md`, so that it can search the web through Ubient Go Search. It covers:

- What to confirm before installing: user consent, installation scope, inspection of the downloaded file, and privacy
- A step-by-step installation procedure with commands for Linux, macOS, and Windows PowerShell
- The skills directory for each supported agent: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Google Antigravity, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and Cline
- An `AGENTS.md` fallback for agents that do not support skills
- How to update and uninstall the skill
- How to verify the skill with a real search
- Troubleshooting and frequently asked questions

## Quick example

The following request searches for a Korean term and asks for a JSON response.

```
curl -sS -G "https://go.ubient.dscloud.biz/search" \
  --data-urlencode "q=대한민국" \
  --data-urlencode "format=json"
```

On Windows PowerShell, use `curl.exe` instead of `curl`.
